I was introduced to James Potter by a mutual connection, Nicole Bachmann, as I wanted to run a LinkedIn masterclass for the Business Junction membership. James proved to be the perfect LinkedIn expert and his 2 hour presentation, accompanied by fantastic visuals, went down a storm. He is extremely informed on the subject, and his engaging and entertaining delivery kept us all enthralled as he opened up the inner workings of LinkedIn. I must have read a dozen business books on how to get the best out of LinkedIn. I’ve also followed plenty of people who seem to enjoy great success using it in their own way. James presented at a networking show I attended last year. It was 45 minute taster session with highly entertaining (he’s a brilliant presenter) and insightful content. It’s hard to summarise what I learnt over the course of the day but if you want high impact training which will yield immediate results (assuming you put into practice the theory), I wouldn’t look beyond James’ teachings. As with most organisations, we were registered on LinkedIn, but weren’t really making appropriate use of it. We identified a lot of areas we simply weren’t aware of and how much it could increase our productivity in getting in front of hard to reach people.

I first encountered James at the E-Commerce SW event. What was I expecting from his talk? Certainly not to be entertained, that’s for sure. James had his packed audience rolling in the aisles as he delivered what has to be the funniest and most educational talk I have ever attended. Sharp as a razor and hugely knowledgeable, James demonstrated his expertise beyond doubt.

As a professional speaker myself, I know what it takes to engage and motivate an audience – and James did this effortlessly. Not only is he a mesmerisingly good speaker – he is also a thoroughly nice chap with a generous attitude to business.

We had James as guest speaker at our business networking event and he pulled an all-time record crowd for us. Deservedly too, not only is he an extremely knowledgeable in depth expert in his specialist area, he also has a lovely dry sense of humour which made the presentation highly entertaining and memorable.
