Make it meaningful
Most people are wishy washy on LinkedIn©, that’s just one reason they don’t get much value out of it.
“I’ll connect with you because I know you”. Full stop. What they’re not doing is focusing on value – they’re just collecting people, getting a big list and no results.
Every day on LinkedIn© do something and connect with someone, understand, help and build a discussion and relationship and ultimately they will know, like, trust and either buy from you or introduce you to others that will!
In fact, I’m unusual because I’ve met, spoken and engaged with every one of my contacts – we’ve connected, we understand each other and they sell for me by introducing me to people I can help and vice versa.
