Do you keep your connections in a box on LinkedIn?
No one would intentionally do the wrong things would they? If you needed specialist expertise or brain surgery you wouldn’t just dive in yourself would you?
None of us intentionally does the wrong things, we just sometimes get too busy to look at things properly, to stop and think about the messages we are unintentionally giving to the important people we would like to know when we are on LinkedIn.
Once you get connected then do you just put them in a box and ignore them forever?
I’m sure you’d keep in touch and develop those relationships by sharing great content, status messages about your work outcomes, get them involved in groups or share company news. You wouldn’t just connect and forget people would you?
That would be a collection not a connection, you wouldn’t keep a huge pile of potential business cards or contacts on your desk and not talk to them .. would you?
