A recommendation about reciprocal recommendations.
I don’t do reciprocal recommendations automatically, but if you want to here’s some free advice.
Don’t make the mistake of writing one for the person the same day! Firstly it looks dodgy and instantly downvalues its perceived worth and secondly it’s a missed opportunity!
The way updates work if you wait a week or so between posting each recommendation, it not only becomes less obvious, but you also get a second turn at going back up to the top of the updates again and keeping both your profiles up.
